A tiny taste of crochet bags

A woman can never have enough bags and there are some amazing crochet bags out there.
I love a new bag but price can sometimes be an issue, like hundreds of euros worth of an issue for the really gorgeous designer ones, but they are a great source of inspiration when it comes to making one for yourself and can be a very enjoyable project,  mmmm!.
I'm no expert, but I'm willing to give it a go if I see something nice that makes my heart race. It does'nt always go to plan but I always learn something from the experience.
Today, I'd like to show you a small picture of my  favourites and links to help you make a really great bag.

Lets start with a classic Chanel clutch bag.
Serious bag love but way out of my budget.

The Chic and Unique range of handmade bags from V&R are to die for.
I just had to show you just for inspiration.

Love these and the colours are amazing.
Mainly worked in puff stitch with a double crochet stitch edge.

And here's Posh with her gorgeous black one

Now for the DIY bit!

You can make your own using cotton tape or strips of tee shirt yarn, its chunky and quick.
There are yarns you can buy which would work beautifully for these projects such as Hoooked Zpagetti
shown here. They have a great range of colours and lots of patterns to try on their website.

This grey bag comes in kit form from Hooked Zpagetti website, there are also lots of free patterns here.

This is a great site called SantaPazienzia. They have a YouTube channel full of video tutorials .
They have some great bags to try out.
These tutorials are on YouTube but  are not in English but the step by step instructions are easy to follow.
